Per the most recent letter from the Office of Parks and Recreation, from
JoAnne Hanrahan:
All Miken bats are banned from league and tournament play. These
are the only bats we are banning.
Rule 5 - The Game, Section 8 - Home Run Rule - Item E, will be
enforced limiting your team to eight (8) home runs per game.
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in public parks (including
parking lots). It is your responsibility as team manager
to enforce this rule. Your team will be disqualified from
league play for the remainder of the season if found in violation
of this rule.
Any manufacturer for back up balls is acceptable as long as you
are using a MAX Compression .375 - .44Cor ball.
Courtesy runners are NOT allowed.
Short-handed rule - refer to page 4 in the Coaches' Handbook:
All slow pitch: Ten players must start if present at starting
time
To avoid forfeit: Eight players must start - an out must be
taken in the ninth spot in the batting order. If the player
arrives after the game begins, they must be placed in the last spot
on the batting order.
